This can vary from person to person as each person is unique. Typically, it is helpful to start with a few sessions to help us get to know you and what has been happening for you. From there you can discuss plans with your counsellor regarding what would be most beneficial moving forward.
Here at With Counselling we understand life can be unpredictable and as a result, we have a 24 hour cancellation policy should you need to cancel or reschedule.
Please cancel/reschedule using the Jane App, or by calling our office.
Late cancellations or no-shows will be automatically charged 50% of the cost of the session through the JaneApp system.
Yes, you can.
We ask that you first check with your insurance provider to make sure they cover the services of a Canadian Certified Counsellor. Many of the benefit companies listed below cover our services, however it's important to check as benefit packages differ.
If your benefits cover Canadian Certified Counsellors, we offer direct billing for the following insurance benefits providers:

Alberta Blue Cross and ASEBP also accept our services but do not allow us to direct bill. If you have Alberta Blue Cross or ASEBP, simply pay for your sessions directly and them submit a reciept for them to reimbursement you. We will provide you with a detailed receipt after each session.
Here at With Counselling we understand the importance of the privacy and security of our client files. We use the Jane App because it provides data encryption and security for all our records and online appointments and is compliant with The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
