Meet Our Team

Andrew Saliba, Canadian Certified Counsellor

If you’ve been feeling anxious, depressed, alone, angry, or overwhelmed, it may be affecting you in various ways. Maybe it feels like something is just off, or just you aren’t feeling as good as you would like. Problems like these can be difficult to pinpoint without the right help. Therapy with me uses insights from psychology, executive coaching, neuroscience, and theology to provide an approach that’s tailored to your unique style and needs.

My clients see change happen at different paces. I believe it is important to keep an end goal in mind with milestones along the way, however, progress is different for everyone.  The journey of healing or growth may begin here and continue once certain groundwork is in place. I facilitate the process, support you, and keep us on track along the way, but ultimately, my approach seeks to find insights and solutions along with you.

My journey has been neither easy nor straightforward. Although these circumstances felt like setbacks, they caused me to ask many of life’s tough questions. They ultimately led me to begin my journey with therapy and are a significant factor in why I became a counsellor. The challenges I've experienced have led me to cultivate greater self-awareness, find stability, and form deeper compassion for others in need. One of the reasons I became a counsellor is because my experience showed me that healing and growth are possible, and I want to offer others the same understanding, validation, and expertise that helped me in my journey.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, going for walks,  reading, meeting friends for coffee, watching movies, and really bad puns!

Victoria Hoehne, Canadian Certified Counsellor

In life, we all need a safe place where we can speak out the things that are heaviest on our hearts. Whether we are grappling with pain from the past or present, fears for the future or difficult life questions, we all need a space where we can come as we truly are. I hope to provide that space for you in whatever it is you are going through.

When you meet with me, I will take the time to get to know you and the history that has shaped the unique person you are. I believe our background, thoughts, emotions, and bodily experiences are all important parts of how we experience and make sense of stressors in our lives. Together, we will examine these elements of your experience and explore new insights they may reveal. Within the counselling room, I provide a space for you to process difficult experiences so that you don't have to do it alone. We'll address the impact of painful experiences and work together to restore a sense of resilience and hope.

A big part of what led me to go into counselling was experiencing how powerful it can be when someone comes alongside you and listens long enough and carefully enough to deeply understand. I believe it is that foundation of strong understanding that allows the counsellor and client to work towards meaningful and lasting progress together. There may be times when we cannot change our difficult circumstances, but it is possible to get to a better place of healing and strength in the face of those circumstances.

Outside of the counselling room, I enjoy going for walks in the river valley, chats over coffee with friends, dabbling in painting, taking too many books out of the library, and getting sucked into a good series!
